SORRY!!!
It could’ve been WW III and global nuclear warfare. It could have been global collapse of our precarious food system. It might have been a global viral or bacterial plague. It could’ve been widespread riots by the have-nots across the globe. It could’ve been “natural global” wildfire-cleansing of nonsustainable-artificial systems across this Eaarth (McKibben, 2010).
It could have been the realization/culmination of any number of existential threats to my relatively comfortable life, to my life … period, and to humanity. (And many of these COULD relatively easily still occur.)
However, it was a immoral & unethical spoiled, narcississtic, con-man and much too Powerful demagogue full of BS (obviously with a lying BS & personality & Power that is compelling & liked by many!) elected for complex reasons (many “bad” & “good” historical & current individuals & groups are to blame) by a quite ignorant, relatively complacent, deplorable populace.
(And as I have said ad nauseum, I DO humbly & hubristically include MYSELF within that deplorable population that elected the deplorable of deplorables, Donald J. Trump!!!)
